Course Description
This course presents methodologies and analysis procedure to analyze actual crash dumps. Examples are based on hp Tru64 UNIX v4 and v5.
Who Should Attend
Senior level support engineers who handle system crashes, and UNIX software and support engineers who need to analyze the kernel and crash dumps.
Prerequisites
Students should have the experience and knowledge provided by course U3708S - hp Tru64 UNIX v5 System Internals II. Students should be able to read C code, use kernel tools and be able to describe the data structures and internal processes of the hp Tru64 UNIX operating system.
